Ollie Kimpton has always tried to ignore the gift that allows her to know things others don't - things beyond the norm. Now, after breaking up with her fiancé, she finds herself alone in New Zealand and plagued by a recurrent dream she thought she'd left behind in her teens. Meanwhile, she meets the mysterious Mark, who, oddly, keeps turning up wherever she happens to be. As her dream unravels, she journeys across the South Island of New Zealand, searching for answers, but when Mark seems to be in desperate trouble, she's the only one who can help him.

Jill Rowan was born in Hertfordshire but now lives in the Shropshire countryside. She gave up a career in accounts in order to pursue her passion for writing. She is a keen photographer and natural history enthusiast with a special interest in spiders. She also likes to engage in desultory gardening, lazy walks and leisurely cycle rides. She has obtained both a BA and a BSc with the Open University and has studied subjects as diverse as astronomy, creative writing, languages, environmental science and religion. This is her second novel. Her first, The Legacy, was published in 2011, and she is now working on her third.
